Photoshop CS3 Drawing – Zenith

I will not respond to comments that can be answered by a brief glance at my main page, so save us both the stress c; Moving on… this was very much inspired by my best bud Avy’s latest drawing of a bull. It got me thinking how much I love ungulates, but never find the opportunity to draw them. So since my campus had a rare snow day, I took the opportunity to draw this, featuring one of my favorite hoofed critters, a Gemsbok. Wasn’t really aiming for anything in particular, just a smooth, serene landscape. Deserts have always been beautiful to me, especially at night with the moon on the sand and a palette of gorgeous colors. The landscape artist in me glees. Overall I ended up not being terribly satisfied with it but I felt it’s decent enough to put on my Youtube – and a good video to break up the “cats and dogs” theme. On a related note – please do not send me comments/PMs asking where I’ve gone or have I left or why I won’t upload more. I am a college student. I am busy. Youtube is a hobby, not my life. Real life, my friends, and other hobbies will always come first. I’m not holding out on you all, I just honestly don’t have time to work on anything. So please be patient with me c; Anyway, enjoy the video. I’ll be here watching this get no comments because it’s not a kawaii doggu~

No, I didn’t “hack”. That’s just how some people refer to Pokemon or situations that make them unable to move. Dunsparce’s Serene Grace ability can shut you down if you’re slow or unlucky enough. (Yes, the video skips ahead at 4:21)

@LeslyeRowyn Thank ya. Hmm… I really like larger mustelids (badgers, wolverines, fishers), small wildcats like Pampas Cat, Andean Mountain Cat, Rusty Spotted Cat, the more obscure breeds of fox. And donkeys/mules because they’re badass… no pun intended.

So I’ve had an idea for an illustrated poem for ages. I won’t go into detail but it’s a horse in a desert and I could never think of a name.
I saw a book called Zenith and I knew it was the perfect name for this piece. But then I found your picture.
Would you feel… exploited if I used the name Zenith, as I was going to use it in a competition? I’m only asking because the concept of the two pieces seem quite similar and it might be considered art theft..

Lol, there’s a lot of comments like this, but anyway, I found this amazing, not many people draw Ungulants, but Gemsbok are really cool Creatures, and it was really cool to find one of my favourite Artist’s drawing one, at first I wasa bit confused with sketching in Black, but then I realised, ,LOWER THE OPACITY XD lol, real idiot here.
It was also kinda strange ’cause you did thin lineart when you normally do it a little bit thicker, but it just made this seem all the more awesome! Lol.
<3 Hazzah, a speed paint! I actually preffer the look the 1 pixel brush has given your picture better than the usual thickness you use. It looks almost lineless when you zoom out. Beautiful lighting.

If you could get…. Thunder wave… Attract…. Confuse ray… and serene grace w/ flinching move, you would probably never get hit if you manage to lay down all those moves. You could throw in a double team too for some lulz.
